"Vaya" Hunting Cabin

The most important thing for a good hunt is clean and comfortable accommodations. "Vaya" offers this to you at a reasonable rate in a prime hunting area located in Northeastern Iowa. "Vaya" offers you a remodeled farm house with accommodations for up to seven people. Also provided is indoor dog kennels. All you need to bring are meals and towels.

The cabin sits on 60 prime acres. There are over 40 public hunting sites located in Chickasaw and surrounding counties. We are only 20 minutes away from the furthest one. Chickasaw County alone has 20 public hunting areas. That's over 1500 acres to hunt on! Many landowners will allow hunting when properly approached. The key is to ask first! We have hunting maps that cover a five county area. They are available for you at the cabin.

"Vaya" is located in the Northeast corner of Iowa, in New Hampton. We are 40 minutes north of Waterloo, Iowa; 75 miles south of Rochester, Minnesota; 4.75 hours west of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and 2.5 hours away from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Waterloo has a major airport which services our area.
